Nexcess

Overview

Nexcess began as a Michigan managed hosting company focused on WordPress, WooCommerce and Magento. Liquid Web acquired it in 2019 and merged it into the Liquid Web brand, then in April 2026 relaunched Nexcess as the parent "specialty cloud" brand covering Liquid Web's managed hosting and bare-metal infrastructure.

Brand merged into Liquid Web in 2024–2025; relaunched as the parent brand of Liquid Web in April 2026.
