Overview
Genesis Cloud ran one of Europe's first GPU-focused public clouds from 2018, renting NVIDIA data center and RTX GPUs from renewable-powered sites and serving more than 20,000 users. Volta, a London AI-infrastructure startup, acquired its team and Kubernetes-native cloud software in 2026.
Volta's acquisition of the Genesis Cloud team and platform was disclosed at Volta's launch in August 2026; genesiscloud.com did not respond (TLS / HTTP 522 errors) when checked on 2026-10-11.
