Lepton AI, founded in 2023 by former Alibaba and Meta AI-infrastructure engineers, offered a developer platform for running models and GPU workloads across clouds. NVIDIA acquired it in 2025 and turned the technology into DGX Cloud Lepton, a marketplace for GPU capacity from partner clouds.
Acquired by NVIDIA in 2025; the platform continues as NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton and lepton.ai no longer resolved on 2026-10-11.
